When a call may be spam or scam, youโ€™ll now see a clear warning in the Gorgias Phone Bar โ€” before answering. This gives agents valuable context so they can decide whether to answer, ignore, or handle the call differently.

๐Ÿ“ US Phone Numbers Only

These alerts currently apply to phone numbers in the United States where carrier and analytics systems provide metadata that can indicate spam likelihood.

๐Ÿ“ก How It Works

Gorgias Phone now leverages call reputation signals from telecom networks via our provider to surface alerts in your interface when the incoming call may be unwanted or fraudulent. These signals are based on carrier-level analytics, not on Gorgias blocking logic.

To use this feature, ensure that the spam prevention toggle in the phone integrationโ€™s general settings is switched ON. This option will only be visible for phone settings connected to US phone numbers.

Every call that triggers a Spam Call Warning will also mark the ticket with the call-spam tag.

This makes it easy to:
