We’ve just released an exciting new feature to our existing Facebook integration!
You can now receive and respond to Facebook Mentions from within Gorgias.
Once activated, every time a User or a Page will mention you on a Facebook post or comment, a new ticket will be created, and you will be allowed to reply, as a comment or Facebook reply, and like the existing comments in the thread.
How can I activate Facebook mentions?
If you haven’t yet integrated a Facebook account, first, add a new Facebook integration.
Once you have an existing Facebook integration, go to your integration’s Settings page and click the box next to Enable Facebook mentions and click the green Save changes button.
Note that mentions on posts and comments on your Page feed will come in as normal posts and comments rather than Facebook mentions.
Also, unlike standard posts and comments, you will not be allowed to hide mention comments and replies, since they don’t belong to your feed.
