You can now add custom information directly to products in your product catalog for additional AI Agent context. No need to update Shopify or your website.

What's new:

  • Each product now has a "Custom Information" section where you can add up to 1,000 characters of context

  • Add details like warranty information, sizing guides, material specifications, allergen info, or anything else AI Agent should know

  • AI Agent automatically uses this information when responding to shoppers about the product

Why it matters: Previously, if product details weren't in Shopify or on your website, you had to create workarounds using guidance or help center articles. Now, all product knowledge lives in one place: the Product Catalog, making it easier to manage and ensuring AI Agent has complete context.

Example use cases:

  • Add warranty coverage details and exclusions

  • Include specific care instructions or material information

  • Specify shipping timelines for certain products

  • Note allergen information or ingredient details

  • Add sizing guides unique to specific products

  • Note when a product has been discontinued and won’t be restocked
