We are pleased to announce that we are putting a major new feature into our chat widget: The contact form π.
πThe contact form guides the customers to fill in their inquiries directly from the chat when the shop is outside of business hours and no agents are available to quickly respond.
π₯ Your customers will provide more valuable information so you can help them via email later in an async way while setting the right expectations for them.
π― You can now keep your chat widget active outside of business hours without having un-replied live chat tickets awaiting for hours.
π Available for all merchants using chat. We've enabled this feature for you and you can find it under settings β integration β chat β preference.
π€ For Automation add-on subscribers, we've tailored the steps of the contact form to fit with each of the self-service flows started by a shopper so you can deflect even further.
