timestamp1729758660000
Managing customer orders often involves multiple team members—agents, warehouse workers, and brick-and-mortar staff. To streamline communication and reduce the need to jump between platforms, we've added a new feature that allows you to edit Shopify order notes directly within Gorgias!
What’s New?
Edit Shopify Order Notes within Gorgias: You can now edit existing Shopify order notes or add new ones without leaving Gorgias. This allows agents to manage order information right from their workspace.
Real-Time, Two-Way Sync: Changes made in Gorgias are instantly reflected in Shopify, and vice versa. Everyone on your team will always have the most up-to-date order information, ensuring accuracy across platforms.
Visual Confirmation: After an edit, you'll see a success banner, and the update will be logged in the ticket timeline, so nothing is missed.
Common Use Cases
Each team uses Shopify order notes differently, but we’ve identified a few common scenarios where agents find this feature especially useful:
Handling Return Requests: Agents can document each step of the return process, ensuring that warehouse and retail teams have up-to-date information on the status of the return.
Order Modifications: Need to update an address or adjust an order tag? Agents can add details directly in the notes, so the entire team is aligned.
Internal Communication: Teams often use order notes for internal messages between support, shipping, and management, helping to keep track of special instructions or customer requests.
Why This Matters
Boost Efficiency: No more toggling between Gorgias and Shopify. By staying within Gorgias, you can save valuable time and reduce distractions.
Enhanced Collaboration: Whether it’s your support team, retail staff, or fulfillment center, everyone stays on the same page with synchronized notes across platforms.
Stay Organized: Capture important details like order changes, customer requests, and return instructions directly in Gorgias, ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.
